The Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay was the site for this year's ACORD Forum Australia. This year's event, which spanned two days, took place on November 20 and 21. Alan Stitzer, ACORD's Director of Global Development, stated, "We were very excited about the diversity of this year's program. The program had a wide variety of sessions dealing with subjects such as emerging risks, underwriter automation, SuperStream, the ACORD Framework and implementation success stories from TAL and Steadfast."
Sessions from day one included a session from TAL CIO David Gillespie speaking about the collaborative journey that TAL has taken using the ACORD Messaging Library (AML) and The Framework. Mr. Gillespie stated TAL's commitment to ACORD as they develop both internal and B2B systems.
